NAWBO’s Economic Development Forum is charged with facilitating the creation of domestic economic exchange opportunities, promoting efforts designed to increase the wealth of women business owners and promoting programs for entrepreneurial development, mentoring and advocacy. Business Objectives
- Identify potential speakers on procurement issues for NAWBO’s Public Policy Days and Women’s Business Conference
- Serve as a brain trust and volunteer source for NAWBO staff related to corporate matchmaking efforts at national events and working in collaboration with the Public Policy Forum, for matchmaking with the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) representatives
- Identify educational resources for gaining access to capital based on the stage of growth and capital requirements for inclusion on NAWBO’s website
- Identify useful resources and programs offered by federal and state agencies for inclusion on NAWBO’s website
