Your Story of Excellence
Each year, NAWBO shares members' stories of excellence through its annual awards program. Donna Childs, winner of the 2007 NAWBO/Wachovia Woman Business Owner of the Year Award weathered the events of September 11 and gave back to her community by teaching disaster readiness seminars to business owners. Lola Kakes (right), winner of the 2007 NAWBO Member of the Year Award, worked to engage new members in chapter activities and helped implement a new chapter demographic survey.
